Hi there, I'm Donia, and I'm obsessed with plants. I am so thrilled that you've found your way to my little corner of the internet. I started this blog as a way to share my love with others and provide helpful tips and advice for fellow plant enthusiasts.
Currently, I have 75 plants in my urban condo (my highest record was 105 during quarantine - I had to re-home some when things got back to normal). During the height of the pandemic, when it seemed like the world had come to a standstill, my plants were my constant companions. There were days when I couldn't even get out of bed, but knowing that my plants needed me gave me the motivation to start the day. Seeing new leaves unfurling, roots growing, and flowers blooming brought a sense of joy and hope to my life that I had never experienced before.
Aside from my plant obsession, I also work as a transportation engineer - another passion of mine. When I'm not working or writing blog posts, you can find me tending to my indoor jungle, experimenting with new plant design ideas, or simply enjoying the calming presence of my favorite houseplants while reading or cooking. And when I'm not inside, I love to travel around the world, hike and climb mountains.
As someone who has experienced the transformative power of plants firsthand, I am passionate about sharing that joy with others. Through this blog, I hope to provide you with helpful tips and advice for taking care of your own indoor jungle, as well as sharing my personal experiences with my own plants.
